Edinburgh Castle and the Fringe
After a hearty breakfast at Kirkhill we headed back into Edinburgh and after finding a lucky parking spot walked up to the castle. It was interesting to see the castle forecourt set up for the Tattoo and while Debra Isabella and Ken visited the orthodontist for some "running repairs", Caitlin took the audio tour of the castle. We then drove to the other end of town and climbed the Nelson Monument on Calton Hill http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Calton_Hill for a great view of the city. We then drove back to Kirkhill for a snack and game of darts (won by Isabella and Caitlin) before Caitlin and Ken drove back into Edinburgh to see the English stand-up comedian Stephen K Amos.
