March 9 Fly Quito to Baltra Santa Cruz & Santiago Islands
Today we flew about 2 hours due west from Quito to Baltra in the Galapagos Islands. We joined Caroline Shimek from Canada and Ruth and Julian Proctor from New Zealand together with our Ecuadorian guide Fabian, and a crew of 7 or 8 on the San Jose, to spend the next three days sailing around the islands.
